Busy Bee Debbie Designs

Fun fact that many people don't know about....I first went to college to be an Elementary School Teacher and got my degree in teaching but after doing some substitute assignments realized it wasn't for me. Props to all the teachers out there! I have so much respect for all the love, labor and time you put into your students! Even though I decided to venture a different route from being a Elementary School teacher, I was able to implement a lot that I learned and experienced in my life as I trained to be a teacher. I have had the opportunity to teach a Sunday school class for teen girls for over 10 years, teach music and the violin to all ages for over 10 years and nurses and students at the bedside as a registered nurse. But now I am a teacher...teaching nursing students instead!

In the many different teaching environments I have had, the one thing I always use is visuals and stories! I have found that students (no matter what ages) can remember information if it's related to a story.

I got the title "Busy Bee Debbie" because I was always...BUSY! Not just busy doing busy work, but busy doing things that was making an impact in other people's lives and in my own life. I have always had the desire to help those around me. I've helped friends and coworkers with planning funerals, weddings, parties, interior designing, banquets, and so much more. Did I always know what I was doing? No, I never was a funeral director, but I learned and figured it out! Have I ever owned a business? Nope, but I'm excited to start this new journey, and now you are a part of it!
