TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Beth has been a music teacher since 2007. She is currently teaching Kindergarten through 3rd Grade General Music. She previously taught Kindergarten through 7th Grade General Music, 3rd through 12th Grade Chorus, and 5th through 8th Grade Band, as well as directing Drama Club and Folk Dancing Club.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Beth uses a combination of Kodaly and Orff Methods, encouraging active musical experiences that are meaningful and enjoyed by each student. She enjoys finding creative ways to include many different learning styles in class and to make abstract musical concepts easier with real-life examples.
