TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have experience teaching art to all ages from junior kindergarten through graduate school. I developed curricula for all of my classes, which includes a balance of art making, art history, aesthetics, and art criticism. I enjoy incorporating art history and cultural diversity in my lesson plans, and my students appreciate the variety of topics and projects they experience.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As an art educator, I try to effectively share the knowledge I have acquired with my students. I have studied for many years with dedication because I enjoy art. I do my best to create a safe environment where all of my students can succeed at some level. Not only do I teach art making, but I also share the importance of art criticism and aesthetics. Furthermore, I like to place an emphasis on art history so my students have greater understanding and appreciation for the visual and tactile world in which they live.
