After practicing law for 10 years, I decided to it was time to do something I was truly passionate about. I headed back to the classroom and I've never looked back. I've taught middle school (6th - 8th grades) as the dyslexia intervention teacher, 3rd grade and kindergarten! Now I am homeschooling my high school aged son who struggles with learning. Whether in the classroom or at home, I love every minute of being a teacher and can't imagine doing anything else! I am so blessed to have the best profession in the world!
I believe and practice a very hands-on, technology rich classroom where students are working and learning together. I feel that I am the guide, gently directing my kids toward the end goal. My classroom is rarely silent or even really quiet! I believe that learning is sometimes noisy and messy. I work hard to make learning fun!
