I have taught a variety of grade levels for 17 years in diverse communities.
I prefer to integrate student led learning along with teacher led learning. I find it best to teach students first as a whole and gradually release responsibility to each student. I strive to make every minute count academically! I have also found it important to keep up with the curriculum; however, still allowing the kids to have fun learning!

I enjoy learning about space sciences. Originally I was going to school for aeronautical engineering. At that time, I went to Space Camp for adults in Huntsville, Alabama. However, it was then that I changed my major to Education when I saw how much of the information I was learning could be implemented in an elementary classroom!
