Throughout my career, I have worked in schools in several different capacities: as part of the social work team, as a substitute teacher, as a tutor, as an intervention teacher, and as an elementary level classroom teacher. The best part of my day was when things "clicked" and a student got that "AHA!" moment! I loved being in the classroom, but have also loved the career pivot to creating quality resources for elementary teachers!
I love to present new information to my students and let them run with it! I am a huge advocate for giving kids the opportunity to experiment. Learning is a process- even if it is hard, even if it is confusing, even if we have to regroup/rethink/redo!
