What educators are saying

I love this download. I needed extra practice for my freshmen, and this product is fabulous. You will not regret buying this!
I absolutely loved this resource! Ready made with a variety of leveled questions including that also included reading the original text. An excellent resource for high school Shakespeare!

Description

This EDITABLE 26-page test bank has become one of my bestsellers! Simply open the file in Google Docs for perfect formatting. The test is for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and has 100 multiple-choice questions with an answer key! Every single question is labelled with national common core codes, and all of the literary reading standards are covered multiple times! You should click where indicated in order to instantly access your copy of this entire test.

This is NOT a memory test for your students. This test bank contains the actual passages from Shakespeare's text that students must read and analyze to be able to correctly respond. Everything the students need to answer the questions is there on the page, which means less work for you! There are at least two excerpts from each act of the play presented like a script with all stage directions, speakers' names, and numbered lines.

This test bank is editable so that you can use any portion of it at any time to do the following:

1. Make multiple versions of the unit test in case students are absent.

2. Make multiple versions of the test for variety for different class periods.

3. Give students a quiz after each act of the play by selecting only those excerpts and questions.

4. Use the questions that accompany one excerpt for standardized test preparation such as the AP Exam or End-Of-Course testing.

5. Choose which questions you'd like to use for various students or class periods based on difficulty.

You do not need to give your students all of these questions in one sitting! There are enough questions here so that you can assess every aspect of the play such as literary devices, character development, Shakespeare's language, etc. Just use what you need at any given time!
