What educators are saying

I used these activities back to back in my 11th and 10th grade PSHE class and they did not disappoint. I will use these year after year!! My students were involved and invested in the outcome of the game and the workbook brought out some great conversations.

    Description

Drug & Alcohol Prevention can sometimes feel.. a bit.. preachy. I wanted to approach healthy decision making in a student led way that would EMPOWER them with information not just a lecture. So... I came up with this bundle which includes my best selling Dangers of Drugs & Alcohol Simulation Game & my Healthy Decision Making Interactive Workbook.

Let's Break Each Down, Shall we?

In the Dangers if Drugs & Alcohol Simulation Game every student will be given a genetics card, personality card, and life experiences card that factor into the consequences for their choices. They must make 9 choices and if they make a risky choice they have to roll the dice and see how it impacts their mental health and/or physical health. Throughout the game there will be 2 case studies and videos to show real world examples.

    Included In Game:

    Google slides Powerpoint (33 slides)

Printable genetics, personality, life experience cards (4X each) (PDF)

    Printable worksheet (PDF)

    Reflection Questions (PDF)

    Teacher Instructions (PDF)

The Healthy Decision Making Workbook will cover everything from healthy vs risky decisions to the importance of who you surround yourself with. It empowers teens to comprehend the underlying reasons behind their choices and how these decisions contribute to their personal development.
