This Microsoft Excel file contains a checklist and an organizer for persuasive writing, narrative writing, and informative writing. I usually copy these back to back and give them to students for pre-writing and then as a final check before submitting their writing to me. There is also a checklist sheet that can be copied and used by students, peers, and teacher to mark presence of necessary elements in writing. This is an excel document, so can be modified to match your needs.
