This is a Common Core aligned lesson focusing primarily on math standards; 3.OA.8, 3.OA.9, 3.G.1 ELA standards; RL.3.1, RI.3.1, RI.3.4, RI.3.10, W.3.2, W.3.10. It is an elongated hands on task involving a selection of books to read, mathematics to solve, internet resources, rubrics, and reading quizes based on the books included. This includes all black-line masters suitable for printing. All lessons are designed around a minimum of DOK 2-3 cognitive level.
