This product is an excellent way for students to practice reading AND writing skills - observing details by noticing them and making inferences about interpreting based on what you see and what you already know. Observing, describing and making inferences, and starting from the general description and then introducing the details. Firstly they practise oral reports, and then they write them down. It helps them transfer the same line of thinking when reading the text or creating the story.
