I am all about integrating math into my literacy block and my fourth and fifth graders LOVE playing Reading and Math BOGGLE! I printed each card on card-stock, laminated it, and put velcro on the back to stick to my BOGGLE board. Each card has a letter from the alphabet, as well as a box to record a number using a dry erase marker. These centers can be used to keep fractions fresh on the mind while exploring grammar rules and spelling. Using weekly sight, spelling, or vocabulary words, students can decompose the letters into fractions, further developing knowledge of vowels and consonants.
