This is a quick and simple voice warm-up I use for reinforcing pitch icons. This is the upgraded version of the free warm-ups I included with recordings of the melody shape performed on recorder.

Carnival of the Animals Listening Review
This assessment is to be used after studying and listening to The Carnival of the Animals by composer Camille St. Saens. This is for the SMARTBoard, and is used by tapping the different colored dots on the initial screen. Each dot contains a music link for one section of the music, and the children are to guess which section they are hearing and check for the right answer. Very colorful! Beautiful music!

Orff Schulwerk SMART Board lesson - The Months (Orff)
This is a song I wrote and a SMART board file I put together to teach the days of each month, but I later expanded it for use in an Orff Schulwerk classroom. Summer Theme Voice Warm-up w/ Recordings - Elementary Music - Pitches So Mi La
This is a quick and simple voice warm-up I use for reinforcing the reading of pitch icons for So, Mi, and La.
Each page includes:
- A 3-5 note melody, written on a two-line staff with beach balls,
- The solfege syllables written below each note,
- A recording of the melody, performed on recorder to allow for different methods of teaching pitches (numbers, singing on "la"...)
You can also use this as a recorder ear-training warm-up on A, G, and E, reinforcing the bottom two lines of the music

Orff Schulwerk lesson, Kindergarten - Scarecrow
This is an original arrangement of a song about a Scarecrow. I have used it with Kindergarten through 2nd grade students, and it always goes pretty well. One fun thing to do is turn on a black light or a strobe, and have one or two kids fly around the room as we sing the song.

Spring Theme Recorder Warm-up with Recordings - Elementary Music - Pitches AGE
This is a quick and simple recorder warm-up I use for reinforcing reading pitches AGE. Each page has a short melody written on the music staff and a recording of the melody. Music Play Hot Cross Buns on the Piano
Play Hot Cross Buns on the Piano. Color the keys on a piano with constuction paper matching the color pattern in the lesson.
