Observing Apples Using Your Five Senses
I created this little journal in the autumn when we were learning scientists use their 5 senses to make observations. In order for the lesson to be successful, different types of apples will need to be purchased and cut up. I have my students write down their observations for sight, smell, and touch. This is one of Four lab/worksheets on understanding why some dates are equinoxessolstices.Students will copy apparent paths of the Sun from a diagram and draw and label the paths onto an 'Hours Of Daylight' graph.
