TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Working with children is the best job in the world! After 41 years of teaching, I retired and spend my time creating educational materials that challenge students to think critically and creatively. Most of my career was teaching gifted students. When I became the Gifted Coordinator, my focus became working with general education teachers on ways to differentiate for high achievers and gifted students in the regular classroom. I think ALL students can think at higher levels, so most of my products are differentiated to meet the needs of all types of learners in your classroom. Creating is my passion!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to infuse creative and critical thinking into every lesson. I believe students should be taught through inquiry based learning and create products and performances to demonstrate understanding.
