World's "Best" Paper Airplane Activity - Physics

This 45-90 minute fun activity is appropriate for many levels of science. You can use it as a filler, to take a break from more complex topics, or have a good activity for a day with an odd schedule (Pep rally! Assembly! Seniors only!).

Students follow a 32 step process to make a paper plane with a separate tail that can fly long distances in a straight line (60+ feet) or in lazy loops with a 9+ second flight time. It flies inside or outside.

This product includes: a) teacher instructions b) handout of assembly instructions with 32 photographs c) power point to do assembly instead of the handout if you choose and) a rubric for grading.
