Great simple kit for a bulletin board to help answer that question of "when are we ever going to use this?"
Description
An original bulletin board for your math classroom by Amy Query!
I got tired of not being able to find secondary math bulletin boards online. This is a ready-to-print bulletin board to answer the common student question, "When am I ever going to use this?"
Each math topic includes 3-11 career paths. The career paths are not all-inclusive, because some topics are used in many, many career pathways! Here are the math topics covered:
*Systems of Equations
*Quadratics
*Probability & Statistics
*Polar Graphs
*Radicals
*Polynomials
*Logarithms
*Trigonometric Functions
*Exponents
*Vectors
*Matrices
*Sequences & Series
*Binomial Theorem
*Limits/Derivatives/Integrals
*Trigonometric Graphs
*Conic Sections
*Complex Numbers
Also included in the download is a clear picture of how I set up my bulletin board, a blurb for students on how important problem solving is, and a document that has the topics and careers listed together so you can make sure you place it correctly on your board.
I just printed the topics on one color paper and the careers on another. My title was made from alphabet stickers I got at the nearby craft store. If you have questions, let me know!
