Description
Make solving problems about volume fun! This self-checking activity will allow students to get out of their seats and move around the classroom as they solve 15 problems involving volume. Each problem solved will lead the students to a new problem to solve until they have solved all 15 problems. You will be amazed at the math talk you hear and the collaboration between students as they work on this activity!
This product includes problems about the volume of rectangular prisms, triangular prisms, cubes, and cylinders, and it does include word problems. Please look at the preview file to see if these types of problems are appropriate for your students. Please note that the directions instruct students to use 3.14 for pi for the cylinders.
A recording sheet and answer key are included.
