    My Wild Finds

My Wild Finds is a product that gives children the chance to get outside and explore! Children collect pieces of nature and put them in their beautiful egg carton collection boxes. Once items are collected, you can keep the collection together and put it on display or use pieces of it to create beautiful nature crowns, masks, and pictures!

    This product includes:

8 Beautiful Egg Carton Scavenger Hunts Labels + “My Wild Finds” Cover:

Summer, fall, winter, spring, leaves, rocks, flower, and one for general use.

Children can look for the items pictured on the labels or just use them to decorated their egg cartons. These labels come in color and black/white.

    Nature Collection Journal

Try using Nature Collection Journal as a fun and hands-on way to learn, draw, and craft with nature. Children go outdoors to collect pieces of nature and then follow the 17 different activity prompts on the pages of the journal. The wide variety of prompts will appeal to different ages and can be customized to meet student needs and interests. The cover is a lunch bag which conveniently doubles as a collection bag!

Muffin Tin Scavenger Hunt and Mandala Makers

The Muffin Tin Nature Scavenger Hunt and Mandala Makers activity gives children the opportunity to experience mindfulness through the beautiful art of mandala making. Children will get their dose of nature therapy by collecting pieces of nature in their muffin tins and then practice making mandalas. Through this process, children will be given the opportunity to work on the following skills:

    *Symmetry

    *Creative thinking

    *Problem solving

    *Increasing focus

    *Fine motor skills

    *Mindfulness and so much more!

When finished, children can nature journal by drawing their favorite nature finds in the muffin tin recording sheet.

Nature Hunt Printables for Indoor and Outdoor Use

There are 16 nature hunts to choose from and they are great for all seasons and interests. Please note that the nature hunts come in color and black & white options, but the circular scavenger hunt pieces only come in color (seen in middle photo below). These circular pieces can be hid indoors or outdoors!

Use this scavenger hunt 2 ways: You can choose to search for the circular pieces or the real objects in nature. The ruler is true to scale and functional! This is a great way to mix in learning about measurement.

This nature hunt is very easy to prepare and use! These should be printed on cardstock to make a sturdier magnifying glass. I also suggest laminating so you can use them over and over again. I use my laminator at home with thick lamination pouches, which makes them mostly waterproof. The lamination at school might be too thin to make them waterproof, but will help with durability!

If laminating, I suggest to print on cardstock, cut out the magnifying glass, run the cut out magnifying glass through the laminator, and cut out one more time. This method will help with water resistance.

Many of the images are the same in this packet as my Nature Scavenger Hunt Printables Packet. A handful of them are completely new, some of them are the same but have a few different objects to search for, and a couple (animal tracks & clouds) are exactly the same. I believe there is enough variability for students to love both sets! Also, the ruler and shape of scavenger hunts add fun new elements.
