Description
What to do with all that leftover candy? This question comes up almost every holiday! These science experiments are a great solution for this problem, using your extra chocolate you can explore the scientific method -- integrating science and fun in an unforgettable way! Great for grades 1-3 but can be modified to work with all elementary.
Includes:
*Scientific Method cards - for easy reference for students
*5 experiments complete with explanation and instructions:
- Candy Sink or Swim? ... do all candy bars float?
- Melting Madness - do all candy shapes melt at the same rate
- Keep it Chill - what could help keep candy bars from melting
- M&M Surprise- what happens to that "M" !
- Shape Changer (Finale!) - melting and cooling chocolate changing its shape.
