What educators are saying

My students loved planning their Superbowl party! I love that this had differentiated versions to meet the needs of all my students. Thank you!
This was a cute Super Bowl themed activity for students to complete! They loved planning their own party!

Description

Using real pictures and prices of favors, decorations, food, activities, and tableware, students can create shopping lists and budgets for a class or home party. Perfect for Super Bowl time or college football bowl games. Just print and go! And now perfect for Distance Learning as you can use in Google and MS Teams.

Updated January 2020 to include editable text boxes for Google and MS Teams.

How can I use this product?

You can lead a whole class discussion using the included party catalog and you can even buy the supplies. (I used Party City and Safeway for the product and price information). Or, you can set up a math center for groups, partners, and individuals to figure out the shopping list and budget. I provided different levels, so your beginner groups can work on the shopping list and the other groups can work on the budget. There are also extension ideas and your early finishers can create their own budget for a party at home.

What is included?

ZIP file

  • PDF file that includes all the below in one easy to print place
  • Catalog A PPT - full color catalog: activities, decorations, tableware, and food with rounded prices
  • Catalog B PPT - full color catalog: activities decorations, tableware, and food with real prices
  • Party Supply Planner Instructions and Shopping List for your beginners (or for K-2 grades) with easy fillable text boxes - they won't have to calculate the total, but rather choose how many of each item to purchase
  • Class Party Supply Budget Instructions and Budget Form for your non-beginners (or for 2-4 grades) - they will have to calculate the total (using Catalog A or B). Students can work in groups
  • My Party Supply Budget Instructions and Budget Form for early finishers or extension - they will plan their own party

Each of the above files can be used in PowerPoint/MS Teams or uploaded to your Google Drive and saved as Google Slides.
