Description
This assignment highlights 6 stress management techniques:
1. guided meditation
2. singing and dancing
3. Writing a kind note to someone
4. drawing/coloring
5. Journaling
6. Talking to friends
I structure this activity by doing activities 1 & 2 together as a class, then 7-minute group rotations.
Includes:
- Printable activity reflection form, introduction and conclusion
- Stress management lab station instructions
- Necessary lab materials
Students will learn:
- how to experiment with stress management techniques to find a method that works best for them and try to apply it to daily life.
Prep:
- Print worksheets, lab directions and lab materials
