Description

This assignment highlights 6 stress management techniques:

1. guided meditation

2. singing and dancing

3. Writing a kind note to someone

4. drawing/coloring

5. Journaling

6. Talking to friends

I structure this activity by doing activities 1 & 2 together as a class, then 7-minute group rotations.

Includes:

  • Printable activity reflection form, introduction and conclusion
  • Stress management lab station instructions
  • Necessary lab materials

Students will learn:

  • how to experiment with stress management techniques to find a method that works best for them and try to apply it to daily life.

Prep:

  • Print worksheets, lab directions and lab materials
  • Set up a station with coloring utensils and papers to draw or color on
