●●● Students can really struggle with knowing what to say and do in tough situations, and these social skills cards can help walk them through it.
▶▶There are four types of cards included:
✅ Break Talk-- general conversation starters about winter break. Use as an icebreaker or warm up to get students thinking about theirupcoming winter break.
✅ Break Trouble-- problem solving situational cards. Students must use their reasoning skills to think about what they should do if they were in the situation presented.
✅ Winter Act—These are also great for problem solving but also take account for a person’s body language as part of the response.
✅ Winter Topics— Have 2 people work on a back and forth conversation using the conversation
starter.
