Is this similar to Close Reading?

Yes, the structure is similar. For each topic, there are focus vocabulary words, a reading passage, vocabulary and comprehension questions, and a personal connection writing opportunity included.

What themes are included?
In this download, you will find sets of passages for fall, winter, and spring. Each set has six passages.

• Fall themes:
  apples, bats, spiders, leaves, pumpkins, and turkeys
• Winter themes:
  reindeer, polar bears, penguins, arctic fox, groundhogs, and snow
• Spring themes:
  insects, birds, severe weather, parts of a plant, spring flowers, and rainbows
  
  

What program does the digital portion use?

This digital portion was created with Google Slides™ and can be used in your Google Classroom™.

Is there a difference between the digital and print versions?

The content is the same in both versions.

Can the sets be purchased individually?
