Turkey Trouble by Wendi Silvano is a wonderful story for the Thanksgiving season.  It is a fun story about a clever turkey that disguises himself for Thanksgiving.  We also pair with this a nonfiction reader for animals that camouflage. This unit encompasses everything you need for a week of Reading instruction (Comprehension, Nonfiction Connection, and Vocabulary).
