RTI: 125 Assessments for Progress Monitoring Phonemic Awareness Interventions

Have you been told that you must "do" RTI? Yet have been given no direction, no training, no intervention resources or no progress monitoring tools? Then this is the packet for you. This packet is not the interventions...I do however, have an RTI Reading Interventions Menu (free) HERE. This product will help you progress monitor those interventions. In RTI, it's simply not enough to provide interventions to struggling readers, we must have proof, with data points, to prove that the interventions are working (or in some cases, not working). No longer can teachers recommend a student for testing based on hunches, sixth senses and 35 years of classroom experience. This product helps a teacher accomplish the task of collecting the progress monitoring data points for interventions in the foundational literacy area of Phonemic Awareness in the five skill areas of Spoken Word Identification, Rhyme Identification, Rhyme Production, Syllable Segmentation, and Beginning Sound Production...all phonemic awareness skills listed in the Foundational Literacy strand of the Common Core for grades K and 1. This packet is also ideal for interventionists, tutors or home school teachers of Kindergarten and first graders, and any teacher, interventionist, speech pathologist, special education teacher, tutor or home school that works with students struggling with the auditory manipulation of sounds.
