Power of Blood/Memorial Day Bundle Sub Plans Independent Work

Make Sub Days Stress-Free Days! This no-prep bundle teaches the history of Memorial Day and The Power of Blood with engaging reading passages and activities. It will provide easy, breezy, sub-easy implementation for your substitute and little to NO PREP for you! NOT just for subs, it also works great for Pre-Holiday, District Testing Days, Fun Friday, or a Teacher Catch-Up Day! The informational texts provide students with all they need to complete the Crossword Puzzle and Practice Sheets. I have included different options for differentiation; and fast-finisher activities. Although not intended as an in-depth lesson, this is NOT FLUFF. My goal is for the student to stay engaged while learning independently of the teacher or substitute. Higher grades could also benefit. Good Introduction or Review Resource. Depending on the length of your class, these could be stretched to last a full week.
