Phonics Worksheets Fine Motor Activities | Alphabet, Blends, Digraphs

These phonics worksheets double up as fine motor activities too! This bundle helps kids learn about beginning sounds, blends, digraphs, vowel teams and diphthongs - all while getting to use a highlighter AND a hole punch. These phonics activities make a great addition to morning work, table activities, fine motor tubs and literacy centers. The majority of the activities are best suited to Kindergarten and First Grade.

What's included:

Beginning Sounds

• Book cover- use the activities on their own or make up an A to Z book
• 26 beginning sound worksheets which require kids to:
• Highlight the upper case and lower case letter using the correct letter formation
• Highlight all the letters that begin with the focus letter sound (font types vary so that kids can spot letters written in a variety of ways)
• Hole punch the pictures beginning with the focus letter (most pictures start with the focus letter to help build vocabulary)
• List of all the pictures included
• Two printing options:

- Individual workbooks

- 2 pages per sheet (ideal if you're using them as individual worksheets)

Digraphs

• Book cover- use the activities on their own or make up a digraphs book
• Option of printing one page or two pages per sheet of paper.
• 26 digraphs worksheets which require kids to:

- Highlight the digraph and the digraph contained in words

- Hole punch the pictures containing the focus digraph

• List of all the pictures included
• Consonant digraphs included: ch, ck, ph, ng, qu, sh, th, wh
• Vowel teams & dipthongs included: ai, ay, ee, ea (tea), ie (pie), oa, oe, oo (look), oo (moon), oi, oy, au, aw, ou (cloud), ow (cow), ue, ui, ew

Blends

• Book cover- use the activities on their own or make up a blends book
• Option of printing one page or two pages per sheet of paper.
• 21 blends worksheets which require kids to:

- Highlight the beginning blend contained in words

- Hole punch the pictures containing the focus blend

• List of all the pictures included
• Blends included: bl, br, cl, cr, dr, fl, fr, gl, gr, pl, pr, sc, sk, sl, sm, sn, sp, st, sw, tr, tw
