School-Wide Fundraising Service Learning Project
Looking for a low-prep, easy and FUN way to raise money for a special school project or charity/organization? Penny Wars will have students competing to bring in the most pennies (or bills) while "sabotaging" other classes by bringing in silver coins to deduct from their totals!
This resource includes everything you need for a successful project, with the exception of collection containers. This resource includes:
1. Directions and FAQ's
2. A flyer to send home (PDF fillable form for typing dates)
3. A sign to post around school (PDF fillable form for typing dates)
4. Collection container signs (PDF fillable form for typing team names)
5. Reminder bracelets for student to color and wear
6. A Penny War Champion certificate for the winning team
7. A bulletin board kit for tracking daily totals (optional)
**BONUS** I do provide a link to a Google Sheets spreadsheet that I've used to calculate class daily totals. This spreadsheet is a BONUS and I will not take requests to customize/edit it, but hopefully it will be a great starting point if you want to use a spreadsheet (optional) for tracking totals. It has space for 20 teams, but is editable for someone with experience with spreadsheets.
