What educators are saying

I use this every year to introduce my students to writing systematically. Everything is included with easy-to-follow lesson plans.
THIS is the BEST resource to guide students and introduce them to paragraph writing and paragraph of the week! They LOVE the structure and so do I! THANK YOU Stephanie!

Description

Teaching paragraph writing has never been easier! In this 8 LESSON Boot Camp, your students will learn the fine art of structured paragraph writing. Following the same format as the ORIGINAL Paragraph of the Week, students will be taught how to:

Dissect a prompt
Brainstorm
Write details
Explain those details
Write topic and closing sentences
Piece it all together

Students will be guided step-by-step through the process of paragraph writing using practice printables, writing notebook inserts, and anchor charts that they will be able to keep as references for the entire year. Those practice sheets will serve as anchor papers for all future writing.

This Boot Camp is perfect for those of you who have been using Paragraph of the Week for years AND for those of you new to the program. It is lesson plans that will help you teach your students the basics of paragraph writing. You do not need to come up with the lessons. All the work has been done for you!
