I have been tutoring privately for over 25 years and I fine-tune my tutoring policies every school year and summer. This is my latest version. You will have to "make it your own." It is NOT a one size fits all product so, of course, you will have to customize it.

I always send the first 2 pages to parents after the initial phone call or email so they understand my background, my services, and Orton-Gillingham. The final 2 pages are used after a schedule has been agreed upon between the parent(s) or guardian and me.

This is a word doc so you can edit to make your own. However, I have included PDF so you can preview it. LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS AND I WILL EMAIL IT TO YOU!

I think it is important to provide the parents with your background as well as the ins and outs of tutoring so that is on the first 2 pages. My parents are offered multiple payment plans and it has always worked out. Some people pay upfront for 10-20 sessions and some people like to be billed at the end of the month. I tutor 25-30 times a week and this model has worked for me. I only tutor for 45 minutes during the school year and 35 minutes for PK/K students that are pulled out during the day.

I've left my logo and some personal information so you can mimic my template and replace with your information or remove it. This is a word doc so you can edit as you see fit. Since it is a word doc, the fonts may change, or the layout.
