I love using nursery rhymes to teach little ones. They can play a pretty big role in developing language, communication, and literacy skills. Hearing new words and listening to new sounds helps to set a great foundation before students learn to read and write. Using nursery rhyme printables, like this one, not only helps to improve the above-mentioned skills but also improves fine motor skills.
With this resource, students can "act out" the nursery rhyme while singing along. Included are directions, nursery rhyme lyrics, farm scene, farm animals, and a "home" for the animals.
