Description

These nonsense word fluency practice pages will help you assess and monitor your students' oral reading fluency with make-believe words- a foundational skill that builds oral reading fluency with real words. This nonsense word activity will save you time and allow you monitor your students growth over the course of the year. Complete with teacher and student copies, as well as recording sheets for teachers, teaching students to read nonsense words has never been easier to manage!

These align perfectly to Aims and Acadience (formerly known as DIBELS) nonsense word fluency progress monitoring with CVC words. This resource has also been updated with an easy to read font for early learners. Check out the preview to see exactly what you'll get!

The practice pages can be used for RTI, progress monitoring, student work samples, homework with parents, or even partner fluency practice. Just add a one-minute timer and go!

Each month (January through December) has a unique set of letter combinations.
