NYSESLAT Listening, Reading, Writing Packet (Editable Nearpod Link)

This packet includes 67 slides with three units, each with a listening task, a reading task, and a writing task. The units increase in difficulty just like the NYSESLAT. Unit one has a first-grade-reading-level passage. In this unit, students write a paragraph. Unit 2 has a third-grade-reading-level passage. In this unit, students write another paragraph. Finally, Unit 3 has a fourth-grade-reading-level passage. In this unit, students write a three-paragraph essay. This packet also includes listening, reading, and writing strategies, as well as the rubrics, idiomatic expressions, exercises, writing samples, and answer keys. This packet is completely digital, but it can be printed too. Even though this packet was designed for high school ELLs, it can be used with younger ELLs.
