NY Geometry Multi-Week Regents Prep Guide

This is a short but extremely thorough list of Regents Geometry Topics. If you’re feeling the crunch and need to shorten the number of topics that you cover, or if you have a struggling student, or if you need some direction in geometry between now and the Geometry Regents, you can use this sheet together with Khan Academy videos and problem sets when available. This can also be used as a guide for possibly 50% of your curriculum, more or less depending on your students’ level of readiness and on your own comfort with expanding the packet.

This is a pretty thorough guide. Though it is not complete enough for an entire year, it can fill a quarter, or you can expand it to fill an entire year or at least a semester with some work, or use this guide to find resources in the same manner that they are listed in this packet. However, as an emergency, last minute, crunch-time list of topics for the end of the year, this document is perfect. The shorter the time that you have, the fewer the sheets and topics you should cover.

There is no preferred order of topics at the end of the year, but you should put thought into the order if you start from day 1. Your aim should be for them to master as many topics as they can.

Feel free to hop around from one topic to the next.Do NOT print the answers for students. You can print them for yourself as a reference, watch videos and go over the problems together, and have the student watch videos and practice on Khan Academy on their own.
