Calm the Holiday Chaos! with this NO-PREP lesson plan that uses highly engaging Seasonally-related activities. It will provide easy, breezy, sub-eezy implementation for you or your substitute! This resource is NOT for subs only! It also works great for Pre-Holiday, District Testing Days, Fun Friday, or a Teacher Catch-Up Day! There are 12 resources, one for each month. Each resource has informational texts, worksheets, activities, and puzzles that will allow your students to practice grade-level skills using icons, vocabulary, and ideas associated with this holiday. Standards are necessary, but those non-traditional instruction days allow your students to learn fascinating facts about our month. Students will love using non-traditional ways, such as word searches or crossword puzzles, to test their reading comprehension and vocabulary understanding.
