From Drama Dreams and English Themes, this product includes a lesson plan and assignment to assist students with monologue memorization. The lesson can easily be adapted to assist students with memorization in other classes as well. This lesson helps students explore different learning techniques and styles (chunking, aural, kinesthetic, intrapersonal, visual) while working on memorization in order to ultimately reflect and choose which learning style is most effective.
The product includes a lesson plan, directions and materials for five different memorization stations, a learning styles reflection assignment, and five signs for the different stations. It is aligned with common core standards.
