Tips From My Classroom

One day a week is Skill Building Day in my Leadership classroom when I pick one of the 30 skill lessons to complete with my students. I mix and match the lessons throughout first semester whenever they best fit (ex. trusting building the first week, microphone speaking before the first assembly, group norms before their first big group projects).

Then, second semester I hand the responsibility off to my students, who sign up for, plan, and host their own Skill Building Day. This is by far the one aspect of the class they look forward to the most each year and so do I!
