Description
Ever felt like some people say one thing but mean another? That's called hypocrisy, and it comes in two main types.
Major hypocrisy is super serious - internally rejecting your faith while pretending to believe. Not cool! The Quran says these folk are disbelievers who will be in deep trouble on Judgment Day.
Then there's minor hypocrisy. We've all shown some sign of this at times by doing acts the hypocrites were known for, like lying, breaking promises or lazily doing prayers. Oops!
Luckily the Prophet gave us clues to spot a minor hypocrite - they brag about faith but mock believers in private. Yuck! They also love doing bad but hate when others do good.
Good news is it's easy to avoid both kinds of pretending. Just follow the examples of truthful folks like the Prophet and keep your deeds matching your words. Oh, and remember Allah a lot so your heart stays in the right place. Practice sincerity - it's the best protection against hypocrisy!
