Keyboarding Self-Grading Fast Finisher Background Activities BUNDLE

In my keyboarding classes, once my students have learned the keys, I always have a "background" assignment for them to work on. These assignments are great for when they finish early or need a break from our current activities. Sometimes the kids work on these for several weeks at spare, odd moments, and other times it's just the assignment for the day. They are fun, accessible, and self-grading. The kids get excited and really enjoy the activities, and they continue practicing their typing while still having fun! Included in this bundle are nine activities.

All these activities are in a spreadsheet. Most of them have both Excel and Google versions available. The spreadsheet will have a score sheet which automatically tabulates their score as they fill out the worksheet correctly. Each one has several different activities, each contained in a different sheet, which is scored on the score sheet. When students are done, they can either attach the file in Canvas or they can simply print the score sheet. Also, each activity is completely self-directed. Students can just open it and work on it with little instruction. This makes them GREAT for when you have a sub!

Most of them can be completed in 2-3 45-minute periods. Many times when I grade it, I give a minimum number of points they need to get total in order to turn in--not all kids finish it. It's also great for your fast finishers! I LOVE making these, so I will probably be adding new ones to this bundle as time goes on.
