How To Writing Book Paper Templates : Procedural , Informational , AWESOME!

How-to writing is definitely my FAVORITE kind of writing to do with Kindergarteners! The kids never cease to amaze me with the creative topics they decide to teach about.

Okay, back to more details about the writing books:

In my classroom I run the book copies back-to-back with a side staple. I include title, dedication, intro, “what you need,” steps 1-4, and “final words.” I also run a few copies of steps 5 and 6 so if kids need more pages, I can just tack it in easily for them.

Kids LOOOOOVE creating these books and are SO proud of their writing! My class actually loves working on their stories so much that they beg to write them during choice time and quiet time and even take blank books home (of course I say "YES!" to all of it! It makes my teacher heart so happy!) :) I'm sure you and your class will love these just as much as we do.
