This lesson would work well as a substitute lesson plan or as a lesson plan for the teacher that is looking for something different to do in the robotics classroom. It is a one day lesson plan that provides students with a brief history of the words 'Robot' and 'Robotics.' Whether you teach LEGO Robotics or VEX Robotics or any other type of Robotics class, it is a fun lesson that uses very little materials. Included in this lesson plan are directions for the substitute teacher. You can give the students a choice of how to complete the color by number. The students can complete the picture on their paper by coloring in the squares on paper or there is a link to a google sheet, an excel spreadsheet and a numbers spreadsheet included where the students can complete the picture instead. The correct color magically appears when the students enter in either a 't' for true or an 'f' for false.
