What educators are saying

These books were easy for my students to read and they enjoyed reading them during our hibernation unit.
This was a great way to introduce and learn about hibernating. The students enjoyed learning of new animals that they did not know hibernated.

Description

This emergent reader little book will help young students practice early reading skills, while learning about animals that hibernate!!

Throughout the book, students learn about animals that hibernate in the winter. The following vocabulary words are included: hibernate, winter, bear, woodchuck, frog, turtle, snake, bats, and children.

The book follows the pattern, "Look at the... It can hibernate in the winter." to support emerging readers.

This book includes the same text on both the top and bottom of each sheet of paper to make copying, sorting, stapling, and cutting easy to create a class set of little books!!

In addition to the emergent reader little book, there are also pocket chart cards to illustrate the vocabulary words from the book.
