These exit slips are the perfect way for you to see who understood your lesson that day! I use these slips at the end of my math period. It is their ticket out that door and it really helps me to quickly assess who understood the skill and who did not. Each exit slip should take about 3-5 minutes.

Every exit slip includes 4 problems plus 1 separate higher order thinking question! (total of 5 problems per page) There are two exit slips per page to help save you paper and time at the copy machine!
This is a great resource to do a quick check of student understanding.
Answer key is included as well!

*These exit slips are catered towards 3rd grade but could also be used for 2nd and 4th.

Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
Identify arithmetic patterns (including patterns in the addition table or multiplication table), and explain them using properties of operations. For example, observe that 4 times a number is always even, and explain why 4 times a number can be decomposed into two equal addends.
