Escape the School - Escape Room for Teachers

This ESCAPE ROOM game for the school staff is a wonderful team-building and morale-boosting activity. It can be used for professional development, faculty meetings, back to school, or staff parties.

When we found out that teachers were using ESCAPE ROOM: ELA COMPREHENSION & WRITING BREAKOUT ACTIVITY for teachers, we decided that awesome teachers deserve one of their very own. So we recreated it just for you!

This time the giant has decided that the local kids are getting too darn smart. And who is at fault? The teachers, of course! He locks them up in school and is about to destroy the key forever! It's up to the teachers to figure out how to find the key and escape. This challenge finds teachers literally “working for beans” to succeed!

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

In teams, teachers will complete a series of tasks of their choosing. These FUN and creative challenges touch upon some important issues educators face today, while including opportunities to laugh and reminisce about the good old days when they were their students’ age.

This ESCAPE ROOM FOR TEACHERS is perfect for a professional development session, a faculty meeting, to end the school year, or kick off a new one!

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

- At-a-glance VISUAL instructions that make setup quick and easy.

- Task cards with open-ended questions that pique teachers’ interest and generate some important conversations.

- An optional introductory video. (It's not absolutely necessary, but it IS absolutely fun!)

- Editable task cards, in case you would like to add some of your own challenges.

- Photo op props have been added so that you can commemorate the escape!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Timing to complete the entire activity is flexible; it can take anywhere from 40-60 minutes for teachers to find the key, depending on how many challenges you would like to use. We recommend five tasks, but you can use more.

*Please Note: This is NOT a scavenger hunt. Aside from a few folders and envelopes, no other supplies are needed.
