Description

If you're anything like me, I am always running out of time, but vocab instruction is so important. This year-long "word-of-the-day" bundle will help your kiddos learn some wonderful vocabulary in about 10 minutes per day. I designed this to be easy, fast, and fun for students, and I'm hoping it does the same for you and your kiddos! Best part? There is no printing, as this can be assigned to students in Google Classroom!

This version is for grades 3 and 4!

I suggest using this four days out of the week, so students are learning a total of 144 new words over the course of the school year.

Students are asked to do the following each time you teach a new word:

*List synonyms and antonyms of the word.

*Write the definition.

*Write a sentence using the word.

*Include the part of speech.

*Find a picture that represents the word.

Included are the following:

*The 72 page Google Slides document for students (including 144 words)

*Weekly Word cards to display on a bulletin board or front board.

*An excel file with all of the words!

*A video showing you how to assign this in Google Classroom.

This is a very easy lesson to integrate into your classroom and a very simple way to integrate technology in a meaningful way!

I hope you enjoy!
