This is a science experiment lab. You can go through each trial, the straw, the toothpick, and the water together as a class with each student working independently. Echo reading the directions is helpful to keep the students engaged. As well having them answer the questions on their own, share with a partner, and them sharing a few out loud each time. You can have the last question "Is this weathering or erosion?" as your exit slip for each trial so don't have them share that out loud.
