My students loved this! We dressed up with masks and gloves. Students could choose to be a doctor or a nurse. They had nametags. We had teams of 3-4 to do surgery. They had a blast and I will definitely do it again next year!

It's time for a little word surgery!
Just have your little surgeons grab their scalpels {scissors} and trim away some extra letters and then bandage it back together to make a new shortcut word-it's CONTRACTION SURGERY!
