Description
Your students will stay engaged and get good practice with these 18 volumes of rotation problems in the circuit format. Students must search for their answers to advance in the circuit. It makes the students ask questions when they get stuck! All of the problems can be worked without a calculator, but you may want to have the students use technology to speed them up and have them work on the set ups. All of the problems are simple polynomials -- no trig or exponentials. This circuit is great for developing the ideas involved in volumes of rotation.
This circuit was actually written by an AP Calculus colleague of mine but he was inspired by my circuits so he put my name on it. I think it makes it a perfect one for me to share for FREE! It will get you in the circuit spirit and maybe the circuit bug will bite you and your students too. Happy training!
