What educators are saying

What a great way to better acquaint my students with the Bible in the library! They enjoyed it and really learned a lot about how to find scripture.
I used this for an end-of-the-year PRE class. Students were completely engaged! I specifically like that there are some reflective questions for individuals along with the scavenger hunt portion of the worksheet.

Description

Help your students get to know their Bibles with this scavenger hunt. Students will use their Bible’s table of contents to learn about the Pentateuch, discover the Old Testament or New Testament location of various books, and practice looking up Bible verses with a fill-in-the-blank section. They will also write about their favorite books, stories, and verses of the Bible, plus discuss how Catholics use the Bible. It is great to use at the beginning of the year or at Sunday School to ensure students know how to use their Bibles.

  • This resource can be used with either a traditional Bible or an online one.
  • The verses in the fill-in-the-blank section come from the USCCB Bible website.
  • If you choose to add this to an interactive notebook, make copies at 90% to ensure they fit.
  • Everything is ready to print and go, and an answer key is included. All files are saved in PDF to secure the font and clip art.

I hope you find it useful!
